I have played La Cala golf courses many times but this was my first experience of staying in the hotel and I loved every moment. The resort must have suffered terribly during Covid but they now are back up and running. The biggest asset the resort has is its staff. They are without exception the most friendly helpful people you could hope to meet. They are there to make your stay a pleasure and they do their utmost to make sure your stay is perfect. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff in the Terraza restaurant were lovely and the food delicious. Jorge at the Caddy master was a particular delight. Full of fun and so knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend La Cala Resort. We had a wonderful time. The fact that the greens on Campo Asia were poor could be forgiven as

La Cala Resort is one of our favorite places that my husband and I visit when we are in town. From three amazing golf courses with each one being unique, to one of the most beautiful locations in the area, we enjoy seeing the familiar staff who are always happy to welcome us back. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and the views from the terrace are amazing. We dined in all three restaurants which were excellent and highly recommend. We were surprised that the hotel had only 4-stars, when it should more. Special thanks to the management and to Ivonne who was a delight. We will be back. Isabelle

Spent a few days here with friends golfing in March. Despite the weather which was poor, the experience was extremely good. The hotel itself is extremely well run and the staff and service are exceptional. The food in all the restaurants was superb and well priced. Particular mention for La Bodega (Tapas) which i’d highly recommend, and would advise booking in advance. Our entire group was impressed. Management to be congratulated on well trained, engaging and mature staff. Nothing was too much trouble and every employee from front desk to golf club was happy and eager to help. Only negative would be that the rooms are a little tired and outdated. Only 4* as a result.

We played here on two days of a week golfing holiday the first course la Cala Asia a very difficult course in good condition apart from some areas which were a bit scruffy but still a great challenge The second course we played the europa course and this was excellent in every way condition perfect so if I reviewed the course separately I would give this course 5 stars a d the Asia 4 stars the staff in every department perfect so helpful Would recommend anyone wanting a challenge to play these courses

Excellent resort, 3 lovely golf courses and practice facilities, we even played the 6 hole par 3's which we found very enjoyable. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. Mini bar in room with water, spirits, beer and chocolate but beware as very expensive if used. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. The views from our room were outstanding, we had beautiful sunshine 6 out of the 7 days. We found the Spa was a delightful place to relax and unwind at, which we used it 3 times during our stay free of charge. Visited La Cala Town using UBER a couple of times, approx €10 each way, and enjoyed a lovely Indian meal at Sai Indian. Lots of bars and restaurants at La Cala de mijas so we'll the worth a visit. We shall definitely be returning to la cala golf resort.

Great hotel,,with very nice staff. Food and drinks good. Unfortunately the outdoor pool wasn't open in February ( some notice might of been nice ) . Golf courses in decent condition considering the time of year. Very hilly with some mental sloped fairways.

Great place to go for a quick break we played all 3 courses each are different and have their own merits.. Golf in the morning and afternoons in the Spa what could be better - Staff were brilliant couldn't do enough for us will definately be back

Booked a weeks golf break from the 4th February 2022 to the 11th February 2022, La Cala Resort and Spa was fabulous and truly fulfilled every expectation and more, great staff, amenities and attention to detail. Golf was fantastic with 3 challenging courses if fabulous condition, will definitely be returning.
