The Kaya Palazzo was designed by award-winning course designer and PGA professional David Jones, who was also responsible for designing Antalya’s Pasha and Sultan courses. This course aims to strike the right balance between challenging and forgiving, so that it can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities.
As this course was created on a compact site, the designers have strived to produce a course with a shorter layout, which will appeal to all golfers, including those who cannot drive the ball huge distances. At just shy of 6000 metres, this course is ideal for people who want to face challenges that are not based on the length of their drive, but take into account a range of other skill sets too.
Many of the holes at the Kaya Palazzo Golf Course have been designed around the classic risk-reward structure: play it safe and make par, or take a few calculated risks and grasp the opportunity to shave shots off of your final score? With 6 lakes and various additional water features to contend with, you will also have to keep your wits about you when choosing where to place your drives. Other holes will test your skills with well-placed bunkers, and subtle changes to the contouring of the green. If you play smart on the par 71 course, you can make it home with an excellent score, but if you miscalculate the risks, you may find yourself playing an enjoyable game of catch-up!
Once you have finished your round, you can take in refreshments in the wonderful onsite clubhouse. Those who are visiting the Kaya course can also enjoy luxury accommodation at the Palazzo Golf Resort. Prime tee times are also available for those who are staying at alternative accommodation in the local area.
