Cornelia Faldo
I was staying at the Cornelia Diamond Hotel, so it was conveniently play at the course associated with the hotel. Transfer was easy - a buggy ride, club house and the changing facilities were of standard one would expect on a championship course of this repute The course - exceptionally green with wide fairways planted with trees either side. Challenging bunkers and intimidating water hazards - were all part of the fun. Greens were manicured and smooth like rolling velvet carpet. Buggy is a must especially in the heat but always recommend it. Green fees are half priced if you tee off before 7am or after 4pm. There are 3 nine hole courses - Queen, King and Prince . King course was closed for maintenance the week I played.
Really enjoyed the round here , great condition and really memorable ninth and eighteenth holes , made a par on nine and bogey on eighteen to halve the match 😀
one of the best course in Belek, superb greens, superb fairways, each hole has its obstacles' cant wait till we go again in 2018
Amazing course with amazing staff had a brilliant two days here will definitely be back beautiful from start to finish
Played as a group of staying at the nearby Cornelia Diamond hotel. Shuttle bus every 30 minutes to and from the course. On arrival golf clubs taken to buggy area if required. Buggies €30 to hire. Played Princes/King courses. All well sign posted. Courses where good with lush fairways and greens however greens were a little slow. Clubs cleaned after round (nominal fee) and we left our clubs in a locked room as we where playing here the next day. Saved having to load into coach and up to hotel rooms. No all inclusive for Cornelia Hotel Groups which was a little strange. Bottle of beer was about €4. Nice layout of holes with scrub under the pine trees should you miss the fairway but balls were easily found and easy enough to play from back out onto the fairway. Had to play Kings/Princes course on our second visit as we were told Queens was closed for maintenance. Good service all round. Definitely play here again.
I am now a gold card holder which I received after ten visits, although I have been here more. Mainly for golf but also with my wife and non golf. Weather is almost guaranteed. - I have been here in April, May,, June, September and November and had just the one light shower in all that time. The hotel is big and you can always find a quite spot if required. I am sure that most visitors haven’t explored the full extent as I have over many years. The ala carte restaurants are good but noe exceptional and the main buffet is superb. I enjoy the ala carte restaurants as you are served in a far quieter atmosphere - personal taste. The Faldo course is superb but nearly all the courses in Belek are of a similar standard. A golfers dream. Only criticism is that over the years I have found the service not to be quite as good as previous years and the staff seem to be less fluid in English. However, I would come again. A week is more than enough!
This course is tight but you don’t lose your ball that often unless it goes in the water ,oops good luck
A group of four keen golfers visited here this month. We were a bit wary having read some of the reviews, but we were blown away by this amazing course and can't wait to return next year. We were welcome by name on arrival at the course, the check-in and buggy hire process was smooth, the Pro shop was well stocked and well presented and we enjoyed drinks on the veranda ahead of our tee-off time. The driving range is a bit away from the 1st tee, so make sure you have left some time if this is part of your warm up routine. We played the Queens and Kings 9 holes and were staggered at how well crafted the course is. Though not long by modern standards, each shot asks a challenging question of the golfer, and good shots are rewarded. The fairways were more undulating than hump-backed and the scrub land was an important feature of the course, and more natural than the extensive bunkers or water used on other courses. Greens were good and the placement of greenside hazards very clever. Since links golf is a different version of the game, this was unanimously voted the best course we had played (but the search will go on!) So saying, we are counting the sleeps to our return visit.
Nice but expensive. It seems every golf course is jumping on the band wagon and charging silly prices.
