Carya Golf Course

Carya Golf Course

Despite being one of the more last opened courses in the Belek region, the Carya Golf course in Belek has already won over a legion of fans and hosted a series of international tournaments. If you are looking for a demanding test of your golfing skills on a spectacular course, then look no further than the Carya Golf Course.

This enthralling 6,605 metre, par 72 course offers visiting golfers the chance to test their skills on a classic, heathland style golf course, set in a Mediterranean environment. The course designers, Thomson, Perrett and Lobb (founded by five-time Open winner Peter Thomson) have worked hard to transpose a little touch of classic British golf, into a very un-British climate. Despite naturally cultivated heather and rolling fairways making an appearance, players can look forward to Turkish sunshine, and good golfing weather, all year round.

Carya Golf Course Specifications

Carya golf course winds between natural pine and eucalyptus trees, and across undulating sand ridges, with white sand bunkers keeping players on their toes, and testing their ability to play a smarter game of golf. The mixture of terrains and hazards that players face as they complete their round will help to make for some truly unforgettable golfing experiences.

The Carya Golf course is also the first lighted golf course in Europe. 18 holes are fully floodlighted, meaning visitors can enjoy the course late into the warm Turkish nights. At an intensely popular course like the Carya, the added benefit of continuing play after the sun has started to set is that it increases the number of available tee times for players.

Facilities at the Carya golf course also include a spectacular new Club House to come home to once you have finished your round, and a world-class Golf Academy, for those who are wanting to brush up on some of their skills.

Partner hotels Regnum Carya and Zeynep Golf Resort located very close to the Carya golf course and offers free transportation and special conditions for their own guests.

We played at day time (I have been once before at night) and it seems very different. Carya is very beautiful and well maintained course, greens were in excellent condition. It is maybe not the most difficult course, but it has it's challenges. Compared to other two good courses in Belek where we played this time (Sueno and Gloria) we liked Carya the most. Only one small minus is the high price - there are no players now during the pandemic, but they keep their high-season prices. Same price as Gloria (140€ adult, 70€ junior), but Gloria has it all inclusive, even the meal after the round. (HCP 17,7 and 11,5)

We have been playing the Carya Golf Course each year for several years now, well before they were chosen to host the Turkish Open. It is an excellent layout in quite good condition. Last year we played the course twice but roped off the fairways to protect the course for the competition. Consequently for the second game we abandoned buggies and used trolleys. We again rebooked the Carya in November 2018 for our visit mid September 2019. In early April our representative agent advised us that the Carya had now cancelled our booking due to newly decision to doing maintenance during our confirmed booking. Consequently it was necessary to find an alternative course, which given the lateness of cancellation proved difficult to find a suitable and comparable tee off time. We were very much limited to available options. This sort of treatment to loyal customers is poor show given that the Carya personel know the constraints in making later bookings, and should be more forward thinking when taking and confirming bookings.

Carya is a fantastic golf course which is playable by all levels of golfers. We played 3 rounds during our stay and loved every minute. Not a bad hole on the course. Lots of water and slopes on greens. Home to the Turkish Airlines Open. Play it. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Arriving at this club it was clear that this course is something else. We booked a 6pm tee time and were the only 6 people on the course..... The practice green was something else and the greens showed why they host the Turkish Open there..... The course made us feel like millionaires as the steward followed us and as it got dark the holes in front of us lit up to create the most amazing environment to play golf. Regardless of price this is something every golfer should try once. Can’t wait to watch the Open later in the year and be able to refer back to our round.

Played the Carya Gof Course in February. The course was in great condition with the greens quick and true. After a huge storm and torrential rain the course drained very well to enable golf to continue.

Marvellous place with amazing atmosphere it was really a nice trip into such place full of wonderful proffessional team surrounding us with nice attitude and perfect service. Although entertainment team was excellent in how to provide us a nice shows and unexpected events. I advice anyone who would like to enjoy the vacation journey to try the hotel.

Golf was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by our party. However unfortunately some Of the greens remain to be seen as a bit slow and Bobbly, causing issues particularly with putting. What really disappointed us was that in return to the club house at 9pm the bar was closed. And subsequently literally left outside to simply wait for our transfer which we hadn’t booked for an hour further ahead. With this being a floodlit golf course, aimed at playing later hours this really surprised us and left us really disappointed unfortunately.

It was amazing experience with brilliant facilities. Golf course and practice grounds are fantastic and the hotel was a top class possibly more than 5 stars 🌟, food , drink, spa, rooms, bar etc brilliantly quality.. Pro Am tournament was organized absolutely to perfection, the course set up to a European tour standard, tournament formats and running the event was faultless, everything was so smooth and professional. Gala night, welcome cocktail was amazing too.. My team and I truly enjoyed the event very much , will come back again soon..👍👏 Thank you for the host...🙏☀️⛳️

Visited the Carya with friends and played night golf which was an experience everyone should try, course was in fantastic condition and I would highly recommend.
