Rating12 of us going on our yearly golf trip. First time visiting Fairplay and we had a great week! Golf course was fun and in very good shape. Apartments really nice, good food and with good service from everybody (restaurant, golf shop ++). Weather being brilliant also a bonus. Will definitely return.

Just finished a week stay at Fairplay. Loved it !nIt’s a 2 hour drive from Malaga, and located at the top of a hill overlooking miles of valley. Fantastic views.nLovely welcome when we arrived. Our room was in patio 7, which is furthest from reception, overlooking hole 10. No noise at all. Room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, separate living room and lots of space for luggage. Wi-Fi wasn’t great initially, so we were provided with our own booster. Great !nWe were on a special rate, half board plus drinks in the evening. The restaurant was buffet, which we usually avoid, but actually was really nice. They cook your main course while you wait, and there’s something different every evening. Absolutely fine for a week.nThe golf course is gorgeous! The maintenance is ongoing constantly, and is really good shape. Fairways were wide and quite forgiving. There’s no apparent club members, so no issue getting tee times whenever you want. In fact, in the afternoon times, there’s virtually no one on the course. Great if you’re not a confident player. Course management was excellent.nThere were a couple of golfer groups while we were there, but no disturbance for us. We absolutely loved our visit and are planning to return again soon. My husband and I were due to stay in this beautiful resort today for 3 nights for our 47th wedding anniversary. Sadly our dog was taken very ill yesterday evening and therefore we had to cancel at short notice. The kindness and consideration shown to us by Reservations, Pau was something all other hotels could learn from. They were both compassionate and understanding. Well done Fairplay and we will look forward to visiting as soon as we are able and to thank you in person. Our best wishes Elaine and Allen

An oasis in the hills, the room was spacious an well appointed, great big bed, huge bathroom separate shower. Golf was great, various tees, playable course with variety in top condition. Great terrace at 19th hole with lovely snacks. Restaurant buffet was immense with every choice including a chef grill for meat an fish to order. All staff were so friendly an efficient- highly recommended.
Great location for spring golfing holiday. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast - something for everyone. Good quality evening buffet. Rooms very clean and airy - more than adequate with nice large bathroom. No complaints - would recommend.
Very nice hotel, the layout of the golf corse a fun challange.nWe really liked the hotel, huge rooms, very clean, but have in mind that you need to walk short distance from room to lobby/restaurant. The sleeping quality of the beds are very good :)nFood at the buffet is good, yes we really liked it.nWe went to the spa and I got some of the best massages I have had at Fairplay Spa, you need to try it.nThe golf course was very well maintained and a fun challenge.nI will definetly stay there again.nWe really liked it :)
Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort, you just have to remember this name for the best hotel in Cadiz. I was for a few days at this hotel. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. nnThe staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. It seems that they really find joy in their jobs, and thats why the provide such a nice service. nnThe breakfasts were amazing. Im somewhat of a foodie myself, and I must say...The quality of the food is outstanding. I had to met the chef in person to congratulate him and his team. Please give this man a raise!nnThe spa was delighful. I dont want to spoil anything, just in case that you decide to give it a try, but its a must, even if you are just passing by the area.nnThe location of the hotel is great, really close to the beaches, but not so much, so you dont feel that overcrowded atmosphere. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. nnI have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Cadiz. Will be back to this place soon..!!!
This hotel is well designed and is a very relaxing place to be for a few days, with incredible views. Gorgeous breakfast with everything you could want and lovely staff/service in the pool area. Our room was large and well appointed with a huge bath in the centre. I didn’t try the golf course or spa but both looked fabulous so coming back later in the year. Worth walking to the local town for drinks and dinner - not far and really authentic with lots of locals out and about. Easy to park.
No exaggeration - when we arrived at the hotel, I CRIED. I couldnt believe how beautiful it was, or that we got the priveledge to stay there for a week. It was unbelievable - the interiors, the views, the golf course, the pool, everything! If you are in Southern Spain at all, GO THERE!!! They even greeted us with Cava at arrival.nnWe enjoyed a week in a large family suite. The breakfast buffet every morning was out of this world and my 3 teenage sons were VERY happy with it. We enjoyed dinner at the buffet a couple nights and it was also very good.nnThe golf course was in beautiful condition and it was very easy to get a round of golf and rent clubs - the club house is beautiful and has an excellent variety of things to buy.nnHousekeeping kept our rooms very clean and tidy and also came later in the evening for turn down service and chocolate on the pillow.nnDrinks at the pool were delicious - you can press a button on your umbrella and order from your chair!nnI wish we lived closer because I would be going back ALL THE TIME.

Perfect location to be isolated from the coast noise, but at the same time 20-30min away from great villages to visit like Medina or Vejer including their gastronomy.nnThe quality of the hotel is impressive for the price and the restaurants offer great food.nnPerfect place to escape in couple or family.
