Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Staff are lovely very polite and helpful. Food is very good especially on the La Terraza Restaurant is definitely one of the best, we went there a few times and the meals were exceptional. The best was the steak that we cooked on a hot stone. My husband and Son played at the Campa America and really enjoyed it they hired the clubs and were very impressed. There is not a shop on site, you can only buy water, pop etc from the golf shop but luckily we stayed elsewhere before so had plenty of supplies. One negative is a design feature of the hotel, we had a massive balcony as we had a junior suite/family room but the balconies either side of us had a gate. So as we had a group of golfers either side of us they kept walking across our balcony. We found this very intrusive as the front doors are less than 10ft apart it’s totally unnecessary, but you can’t lock the gates. This is something the hotel needs to look into especially as families stay their. But we loved our stay and we would definitely return.
Second time here. First with a golfing group. This time with my husband. Very hot weather!! But the wind helped hugely. It never felt unbearable. Room was fabulous and spacious and we had a rooftop terrace. nWe played a lot of golf, on the Europe and America course. Beautifully kept. Food everywhere, hotel golf clubhouse was very good. But a special mention to the tapas restaurant. Exceptional!!!nStaff were exceptional. Very well trained and extremely helpful. nI’m returning shortly with a golf group. Stunning room, I couldnt be happier. The rooms are spacious and the beds are crazy comfortable. The children are loving the pool, and when they want a change of scenery the beach isnt far. The staff are attentive and helpful.
this is an amazing hotel. We have just returned after spending 10 days here. All staff were so helpful, especially Maria and Emily at the pool bar. They couldnt do enough for us, always happy and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The food was outstanding. Its clean everywhere, reception staff very helpful especially with my husband who is disabled. Thank you to everyone at La Cala golf resort.
Just returned from another enjoyable stay at La Cala - our 20+ stay since 2004!nAs always friendly and helpful staff proving a high level of service and efficiency.nThe rooms are presented and maintained to a high standard, the pool is inviting and the golf courses are great.nLook forward to the next visit!
Just returned from 2nd visit with 3 golfing lady friends. As per last year, all staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bar and pool area excellent. Short taxi ride into La Cala. Rooms, clean and comfortable. Golf clubhouse bar offers good post golf food and drinks. Service is good and all staff welcoming. Good choice of breakfast items. Have gluten free rolls, muesli, biscuits and muffins. Would be great if they were able to offer a separate toaster for gluten free bread (am coeliac and have to be careful of cross contamination, cannot use the main toaster,will try to remember toaster bags for next years visit). Stayed in room 112, looking out over Asia course. Last year was at front of hotel. Good views whichever way you look. Played Europe and America this year, challenging but enjoyable, bring plenty of balls. Pace of play reasonable and courses in great condition. Highly recommend and see you next year!
We stayed in La Cala for 3 nights after getting married in Marbella. We headed for the resort after all our guests had gone back to Ireland for some rest. We could never have expected such an experience. Right from check in the staff were amazing. The resort is top class. Food & drinks won’t be beaten for quality & price. The swim up pool bar is fantastic. We had the pleasure of being served all three days here by a girl from Donegal who was on her placement & another girl called Tia (I think!), both were exceptional & even made us cocktails that were not on the drinks menu. The spa was amazing as was the golf course. Whilst the resort is outstanding it would be nothing without the staff & this was one of the big things that stood out for us. No matter where you went on the grounds you were greeted with a big smile. We will certainly be back.
Just returned from yet another great stay, it’s our 5 time in a row and will be back! nALL the hotel staff are so efficient and very welcoming. We played the Europa & Americas and being a green keeper myself, I must say these courses are fantastic.. nonly downside was on both rounds the drinks buggy wasn’t to be seen and with very hot temperatures, a cold drink was needed.. nIf your looking for a great golfing break? nLook no further ??️♂️
We have moved to live in La Cala golf and are then able to enjoy the facilities at the club house hotel and spa , all of which are fabulous nThe recent jazz night was exceptional great food and entertainment on the terrace under the stars nStaff and service was great
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed here last Summer 2021 and booked our wedding for this year July 29th 2022. That was the best decision we could have made. Our wedding was the most amazing day ever. The setting, the staff, the food, the little touches, my hair and makeup, the golf, pool bar, I could go on forever. nnWe stayed here for 10 nights and loved every minute of it. Every single staff member deserves praise. They couldnt do enough for us and all our family and friends who attended the wedding. I will name a few but that is not excluding all the others. Firstly Eva did my hair. She made an incredible job of it but she couldnt have been kinder and I really have to say she is such a special person. Stephanie did my make up and she was fantastic and also so kind and calm. Pablo is a wonderful manager of the spa. Greg is a wonderful photographer recommended on the wedding package. The reception staff are out of this world. There was no question or concern that they didnt try to help us with and went way beyond the call of their job. Antonio, Alberto, Jose, all fantastic staff. The pool bar staff were fantastic too especially a short blonde haired lady I didnt catch her name. The cleaning staff cleaned our room impeccably every single day. I really could go on and on. nnEvery single one of our guests from our wedding had unbelievable praise for the hotel and staff. I really recommend La Cala Resort for a wedding or a golf or spa holiday, or just a beautiful place for respite in Spain. The rooms are gorgeous, the gym is well equipped, the breakfast buffet is delicious, the pool is so fun especially for a cocktail in the water, the golf courses are really good especially America, the spa is amazing, the food in the clubhouse, courtyard and tapas restaurants are all delicious. I would recommend a car for getting to the nearest town and neighbouring golf courses, but a taxi isnt too dear either.nnThank you all so much for making our wedding, and our family and friends holidays so truly amazing and memorable.
