Pga Sultan Golf Course
Of the two courses, the PGA Sultan has been designed with lower handicap golfers in mind. The course has hosted several major tournaments over the last few years and this course has been selected as the home of the Turkish PGA. Most visiting golfers relish the opportunity to test their skills in such a beautiful but challenging environment.
The PGA Sultan fits seamlessly into the Belek pine forest environment, and the course works well with natural features to create a tricky, albeit gratifying course. Local marshland has been transformed into beautiful, crystal-clear lakes, which act as water features on many of the holes.
Well-placed bunkers have also been cut into the landscape and must be negotiated to find the greens. These hazards will test your golfing nerve, with demanding yet rewarding play.
Although the relatively flat 6477 metre, par 71 Pga Sultan course is easily walked, it is much harder to navigate your way around with a golf club. Each shot that is taken must be carefully considered, as many holes have classic risk/reward elements. If you can hold your nerve and display the right golf skills, then you can really succeed on the PGA Sultan.

Despite having visited Belek for golf several times, this was first visit to Sultan and Pasha and played them both. I can now say that Antalya GC is probably the best golf facility in Belek ! The clubhouse facilities and pro shop are first class as are the practice areas (range balls are free !) and both courses are in first class condition. The Sultan is a great test of golf without being unfair and the Pasha, being a few hundred yards shorter, is a very enjoyable bit still a testing course, especially ideal for holiday golf. I cannot rate this place highly enough and would highly recommend playing here rather than likes of Montgomerie Maxx and the Faldo courses.
Played each course twice and can highly recommend - fantastic location for Society away trips staying at the all inclusive Sirene Hotel. Excellent facilities.
We played Sultan this time and it was in great condition. Range and practice area is excellent. Buggy was 35€. I think the layout is only a four star on this course, that is what brings my rating down a bit. Will return again.
Played both courses during our stay in Belek, all arranged by the excellent Hasan at Bilyanagolf. The courses are simply stunning and very enjoyable, Plenty of water to quench the thirst on a hot day helped the enjoyment. Polite and happy staff to help you along, and cant remember seeing so many hardworking green staff on a course (played Sultan twice & Pasha once) My handicap has suffered, but it was well worth it.
Played 3 games at Pasha and 2 at Sultan. For me the Sultan is a superior course in every way however that doesn't take anything away fro the Pasha great course but not the challenge the Sultan offers. Both courses were in exceptional condition the roll on the greens was great. The only downside and reason for my 4 stars is there were too many on the course on Thursday with a round that lasted over 5 hours
Antalya Golf Club is wonderful-there are two courses-The Sultan is a PGA course and very testing - The Pasha is an easier course ---BUT, both courses are wonderfully maintained, the staff are helpful and obliging. Just watch out for charges--we were on a break that included 3 rounds but paid for one further round on The Pasha--90 euros green fee, 35 euros for buggy, best part of £160 for my wife and I!!
A small group visited the Antalya golf club for 5 rounds during our stay. Firstly the courses are some of best I have experienced. The Pasha course is shorter but with undulating greens making scoring extremely tricky. The sultan course is an absolute beast with long par fours and good positional play needed from the tee. ( We played from the back tees measuring over 7000 yards). A special mention has to be made in regards to Michael the professional. A genuinely nice guy who made our visit as easy as possible. With special thanks for the kind certificate and gifts for my first ace. The only negatives to mention are: 1) The pace of play with each round taking over 5 hours even with buggies. We are assured that staffing levels are being addressed for the future to allow marshals to combat this issue. 2) Blackbirds on the sultan course. We had approximately 8 balls stolen over 5 rounds by these birds just lifting them and flying off. Again we are assured that this is being addressed to ensure that it does not contiue. We will definately be back!
From staff customer service to golf layout and scenery, the PGA Sultan is a must play. Loved it. Would recommend that to anyone and wouldn't mind playing it again.
First I must apologise for only giving this course 4 stars on my previous reveiw (Feb 2019). Now thats out of the way...where I listed it under the National..... Let me start by saying I am a genuine high handicap player, officially its 28 but it has been 22...this course will challenge a lot of people, not because its overly difficult but because of its layout, tgete are bunkers in strategic places and a fair amount of water to contend with. Its not one of those open fairway type of courses where you can just hit the ball hard down the fairway, its definitely a thinking course, lay up here, chip in there and dont go through the green on particular holes...play to your handicap and take the reward. The course was in perfect condition, the fairways were in great condition and mostly divot free, the bunkers, and tgere are a few, are well trimmed round the edges with soft ssnd therein. The greens were true and fast...best to put uphill than down ! Theres also a good range and practice putting green that reflects the greens out on the course. Whilst on the range at about 7am, I was approached by a chap I later learnt was Michael Jones, the director of golf at the National. He asked if every thing was as it should be and was there anything we needed, apart from a lower handicap of course...even gave me a few free tips...most appreciated..a very accommodating chap who seemed keen to ensure we had a good day. This course, as with most in Belek, gets very busy. If you want an early tee time book as far ahead as you can, there are only so many tee times in one day... We had a great day on a superb course where the greenkeepers, pro shop and hospitality staff do a great job, its well worth a visit, so much so I'm back twice later in the year....
